You know, I was just thinking the same thing.  I heard someone say the other day that you can adapt the G2 Tux Shirt tutorial for the TinyTux?

I never did it, but it may be worth a look . . .

Here is my result (with a speech bubble added)  :happy2:. Somehow it's different, but I can't put my finger on it...

Small amount of aliasing on the edges, but overall a terrific effort

actually, aliasing is caused by PNG compression  :boulay:, the actual PSD is a lot smoother

Really, I would have thought .PNG would have made it sharper.  What format did you originally make it on?

I know what a .PSD is.  I'm saying that from your image it was on a white background.  Did you fill it?  Because it looks like .JPEG. . .

Oh. For some reason, crystalxp makes transparent backgrounds (on attached images) become black!   :frown:
Notice that the speech bubble has a dark transparent background! I had to fill the BG with white :boulay:

Not CrystalXP, but your browser. Transparent files should be saved as .png!  :great:

I'm using firefox 2.0! In the "attached image" prevew thingy, it appears black, but when I click on it to open the image, it's transparent. Seem's like a bug in the forums to me...

No, it's not the forum.  If you submit a PNG with a transparent background it puts an ugly fill in it.  Nothing you can do about it :non:
