Welcome to CrystalXP. Make sure "Blend mode" is on "normal". If this doesn't work, try to create a new document with these setting for Color Mode: RGB Color. Now try to do it again, I hope it works.

mayleann, welcome to CrystalXP! You have a great result there. Usually I got some points of improvements for everyone, but not much to improve in this work. But please note, don't use work from other authors in your creations. And if you decided to do so, always ask permission first and link to the original author.

First make the white backgrounbd layer invisible by clicking on the eye next to the white Background layer then save the file as PNG

Welcome to CrystalXP! Your result looks fine. Only strange thing is that I can see the shadow of the Tux above one of the reflections for the porthole. You have to change the layer order.

Excellent Tutorial!!!!!!! Thanks for the translation I just  :loveit: . Just one thing, I have to move some parameters when I was doin the tutorial so it looked like the example image And I noted a little bluish border missing in some images like mine. Which version of Photoshop are you using? Im currently on CS3 and found little differences  :fouet:.

Anyway GREAT WORK! Loved the Office icons and The channel ones  :beurk:

Here are mine  :boulay: :
