Hello everyone, in this tutorial I will show you, how to make "3-D Flowers". The final result lookes like this:
Let's start work 
.
1.) First, create a new document. (500px * 500px)
2.) Fill the background black.
3.) This is already the most important step. Try to draw a leaf like me with your pen tool:
4.) Colorize your leaf white. (Simply change the color in your toolbar).
5.) Choose a selection with a feather radius of 5. (Right mouseklick on the leaf --> Selection)
6.) Now, rasterize the layer with your leaf. Click on "delete" and you have this:
(You must choose the layer with the leaf)
7.) Now, you can arrange your leafs to a flower 
. This was mine:
It's time to add some effects and color ^^.
8.) Merge all the leaf layers. (Select them + Control + E)
9.) Duplicate this layer and use the motion blur filter.
10.) Repeat setp 9 (if you want).
Now, you have something like this:
11.) Merge again all layers.
12.) Create a new layer. Make a nice, round gradient like me on the second, empty layer. (The new layer without the flower). (You can also change the color).
13.) Set the layer mode on "color".
You can also make butterflies or other shapes with this technology

(In step 12, I added some lighteffects).

You've to specify the amount and direction of the motion blur though. 
I liked the blue color on this one pretty much.
