Hi all, that's s my 1st tutorial ;-D

1. Open your scanned dirty image

c_1.jpg

2. Goto menu File->Save for Web->.... and save it as 2 coloured gif

c_2.jpg

3. Open it, and convert to RGB (Image->Mode->RGB Color)

4. Correct picture by Eraser Tool, Brush Tool etc

c_3.jpg

5. Use Stamp Filter from Filter Gallery (it takes interesting anti-aliasing effect)

c_4__stamped_.jpg

6. This layer must be on the top in multiply mode

c_5.jpg

7. Use Magic Wand Tool (shift_click) to select all pieces of body

c_6.jpg

8. Expand selection by 2

9. Fill selection by Paint Bucket Tool (in new layer)

c_7__solid_body_.jpg

10. Replay operations 7,8,9 to other objects (in new layers)

c_8__colored_.jpg

11. Draw shadows (in new layers) color for shadow is in ~5mm below from original color in Color Pickeri'm used Polygonal Lasso Tool and Paint Bucket Tool for making shadowsc_9__shadowed_.jpg

I think drawing with a real pencil and then scanning in the picture will work as well. :oui: I also think that's the way Damballa did it, but I'm not 100% sure.
