Hi! This is my first tutorial. I hope you like it

You will learn here how to do that effect:

http://img232.imageshack.us/img232/12/userbarnewvf7.gif

You can make that in tutorial below or you can download video tutorial made by my friend (thanks to dura007k :great:) .::download tuto::.

OK. Let's begin.

1. First of all You must have userbars (if You don't have, You can make them here :ar: link)

 I made two:

  http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/1880/userbar1ma6.jpg - userbar 1
  and
  http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/927/userbar2bf1.jpg - userbar 2

2. Make new document (with exactly the same resolution as yours userbars - mine have 300px x 19px)

3. Paste your userbars to that document (name them like in image)

 http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/2471/namekf7.jpg

4. Make a copy of your top layer (userbar 2) and bring it to the backward

 http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/3341/copymo2.jpg

5. Chose Move Tool (V) and take your top 'userbar 2' under the canvas

 http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/5415/movetoptodownol6.jpg

6. Open ImageReady (or just Animation window in CS3 version)

7. You will see the first frame. Press the 'Duplicates selected frames' button to make a copy of first frame

 http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/9757/copyframeim2.jpg

8. Bring up your hided userbar 2 (in 5. point) using move tool

9. Press the 'Tweens...' button and type '10' in 'Frames to Add'

 http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/332/tweenbuttongs5.jpg

10. Go to your last frame and take your middle userbar (userbar 1) under the canvas. Make top layer invisible

11. Duplicate last frame and bring up your middle userbar.

12. Press 'Tweens...' button and type '10' in 'Frames to Add'

13. We almost over. Now change the delay time in your 12th and 23rd frame to 2 seconds

 http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/8057/delayua0.jpg

And that's all  I hope that you understand all of it. If you got any questions just ask

Good luck!

This is a good tutorial about the animation, however, I think you can improve the quality of your userbars by adding a stroke (1px black) and reducing the opacity of the pattern!

Example:

I think that should help you:

1. At the first frame place your second userbar like in image below:

http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/39/help1xq4.jpg

2. Copy your first frame and place second userbar also like on this image

http://img374.imageshack.us/img374/809/help2bl7.jpg

because I think that you have placed userbar in that place:
http://img374.imageshack.us/img374/115/help3yb5.jpg

Then follow the tutorial

Is now good?

I do not think you can save animations in Photoshop.  Image ready will work
