Hello Gruzz,

wow! Thank you very very very much for helping me out  :merci.png[/img]

If you have visited Mika's webpage then you probably saw the basic colours I used, black, orange (#FF9900) and white, inspired by Mika's fur colours.

I abolutely love the style of the buttons from this tutorial, would it be possible to change the blue colour into an orange glow? And, if it is not to much work (I really haven't got a clue, sorry) is it at all possible to have the flags shining through the paw? I mean that the flag is the shape of a paw?

Forgive me for being so demanding, I just tried to explain what I had in mind but I would be ablolutely grateful for anything  [img]style_emoticons//loveit:

I have bookmarked this forum and as soon as I have a little more time again, will try and work some of these fantastic tutorials. I think that these graphics are really georgeous and I love to learn this myself. I could very well imagine having these for the navigation in my page too. So I have to get on to it soon.

Again, Thank you ever so much!

Sue

OOOPS, sorry I think we cross-posted!

I only just saw you fantastic work after I have posted.

These are just what I had in mind!!!! WOOOHOOO! THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH! :great:  :great:  :great:  :loveit:  :loveit:  :loveit:  :yipi:  :yipi:  :yipi:

And you did this so very quick too.
I dont know what to say, but I really love these and I am really really thankfull for this!
I will try and get them onto the page asap!

woohooo!

No point Zoozee/Sue.  :loveit: I really hope you come back once you're in calmer times. I'll try to do what you say regarding the colors of the claw. I didn't understand one part of your post though.

You want the paw to be transparent? That's possible.
Flag as the shape of a paw? You'll have to explain that. Or you want a black circle with a claw, with in this claw the flag? I don't think that will come out very nice, but it's your choice. Please explain a little more.  :oui:

Helle Gruzz,

Oh these are wonderfull just like they are!!! Please don't change anything! I LOVE THEM!  :great:

You can't imagine how happy you made me with these.
I am trying to get them on my pc now but I see that they are png files?
I am not quiete sure yet how to work with them but I will try and figure it out.
I think I have to make them a little smaller to fit in the spaces where you can see DE and GB and maybe put them on the right hand side on the top. I will see what I can do.

Again, thank you
and thanks for understanding about the situation with Mika.

Oh hehe thank you! Yes, cross-posting happens. The files are saved as .png to retain transparency, if you want a black background, here you are (in .jpg and .png):
http://www.coldblade.saboni.com/CrystalXP/Steel%20icon%20en%20black.pnghttp://www.coldblade.saboni.com/CrystalXP/Steel%20icon%20en%20black.jpg
http://www.coldblade.saboni.com/CrystalXP/Steel%20icon%20du%20black.pnghttp://www.coldblade.saboni.com/CrystalXP/steel%20icon%20du%20black.jpg
.png on the left, and .jpg on the right.
If you've got any more questions/idea/or just want to speak with me, add me on MSN. If you want me to make them any smaller, I'll be able to do so aswel. And thank you again for the compliments!  :great:

It is a good tutorial, thank u very much for sharing. I'm using Adobe Photoshop CS and tried two times but not get the same as ur's. Mine is shown below. What wast the reason? What's u'r software version? Also, while saving these types of files, that is without background ( transperant), in Gif format, the image contain some noice at the edges. Why?

Hey very good Tutorial k_millio, this one will come in handy. The only thing is mine seems to be lighter and i have double checked everything.  I think you said in another tuorial you had a the latest photoshop, because im using photoshop 7.0 and if so that might be the reason. Well here is mine for you all to have a look.    :meuh:

After all it was a magnificent tutorial! I will read more of your tutorials but the tiny problem is that they are so long but i think i can handle them ;D

Nice result togo. Only the edges look cut, maybe you should have made the circle a little bit smaller at the beginning. If you've got any questions on other tutorials.. don't hesitate to ask!

Yes, i noticed that when i posted it  :bigboulay: When i made my new avatar did i see the same problem, so i was also thinking of the circle too big at the beginning  Well.. I understood what i did wrong anyway and now i think my avatar looks nice :winktongue:

Ps. I will ask if i'll need to, Gruzz  :jap:

Edit: Oh yes! I forgot to ask How you actuly can make the steel and glass icon look like has glass on it, if you know what i mean  :mdr:

no problem, we are welcome.

by the way i was not talking about the blending options.

i was talking about applying gradient (white to transparent) on a new layer which is also transparent.

you can read here on some info on gradients.

after selecting be sure you have white as your foreground and then do to gradient tool and select white to transparent.  :great:

Argh! I'm a little bit imbarrased because i'm such a newbie and i still suck at this :frown: But i really do not get the thing how to find, and get the gradient from white to transparent to work.

I also read at the link you gave me. 2 things about that: 1. I just didn't get it 2. My english was not enough for it all.

Could you please still try to explane this to me?
