man i was doing good but then i got lost at the part with the rectangular selection tool...
i just got photoshop so yeah im still learning.

How about this? I think it's OK, but antialiasing on edges and the picture need some working. And forgot to mention,
I made it on Gimp, not in PS. It was quite hard but fun.

Codename M2K, pretty cool. Your result can't be used as a signature though. It's way too big. Please read the rules and look for the maximum size.

I am not sure what you are trying to say here? Maximum size is 320 by 80 pixels, just stick to that rule please.

In step 6, we're just shrinking the image vertically. Once you are in free transform, hold alt key and drag either the bottom up or the top down. I think that you will understand this step now?

Please let us know what you don't understand about step 4.

Nice one earnur! Rimorox, if you do not try you will never learn it. Give it a go and see what you can learn from the Pen Tool. There's a tutorial about the Pen Tool here on CrystalXP made by me. Have a look at it!

its still very hard to use the pen tool though

i take that back the whole thing is impossible from 9 to the rest of the tutorial, please someone make a video tutorial of this it is very hard to understand.

ex. it says hold ctrl and click on layer 1 and go to modify - contract but contract doesn't come up...

You've to click on the small thumbnail image before Layer 1. Then you'll get a selection.
