| Gruzz Profil: Moderator | Last message on previous page: It's very nice. The only thing you could improve is the head. It looks like a bald penguin, maybe something you should improve on the reflection? | |
-Shift- Profil: Big Penguin | lol arent penguins bald ? ok ill mess around alittle
Gruzz Profil: Moderator | Hehe, bald penguins. Ofcourse they're not bald, they've got a big fur. Else they'll die of cold, lets get back with our creations.

-Shift- Profil: Big Penguin | lets see your result SAB
GmT-Curwen Profil: New Penguin | I did it just as the guide says, but i have a problem, tux has all the borders (the body, eyes, etc.) pixeled, they look squared (i dont know how to say it xD) ...how can i soften the borders?
-Shift- Profil: Big Penguin | what you are saying is that it has aliasing you can use a little inner glow
GmT-Curwen Profil: New Penguin | With a .5 gaussian blur and the inner glow in white i finally did it! Thx pal, this forum roolz.

Mohammed Sodawala Profil: New Penguin | wow awsome tutorial....i realy like it welldone K_Millio..... and i m totaly newbie for Photoshop, but after reffering this tutorial i have made my G2 Tux... i hope i have completed properly as per tutorial steps... and also any mistakes will be apreciated Again thanks for tutorial
Gruzz Profil: Moderator | We don't mind if make mistakes. Your result is very good for a beginner. If there is anything you have to change, it's the shadow of the tux itself, and the shadow of the tux's nose!
Mohammed Sodawala Profil: New Penguin | hey thnx gruzz, but the reality is that i only felt difficulty on that two shadows... 1. is shadow of Beak & 2. is whole tux shadow, well i was thinking to give surface reflection instead of tux shadow, but as i m newbie for PS i dont know that stuff, well i am searching tutorial on Surface reflection or reflection as i will get it i will learn it........ any ways thanx again......
Gruzz Profil: Moderator | - Duplicate that layer that you want to have a reflection - Transform it by pressing 'CTRL+T', - Right-click and choose flip verticle - Move it down till where you want it, probably it has to touch the tux by one pixel. - Set the opacity to 10-20% OR put on a white to transparent linear gradient! I hope you can figure it out now.
Mohammed Sodawala Profil: New Penguin | wokie....i will edit my above post till tomorrow, by my new reflecting tux...thankss....

Gruzz Profil: Moderator | The base text has no aliasing, it's completely straight and clear. You must have done something wrong in your work.
