k_millio Profil: Modo | Welcome on CrystalXP.net Devil86HH Your tux is quite nice, but I think you should make your shirt rounder on the bottom Anyway, it's still good
Konimotsinui Profil: New Penguin | This is a good tutorial, but there were some times when a few of us seemed confused (including myself). I saw some typos in this, but can't exactly point them out now, since it's been 3 hours since I started this, and I don't remember where they are. I also saw Rc!'s Tux, with the awkward drop shadow, and found that he was just doing what the tutorial says, since you used the TG2-37.gif image twice in a row, but it doesn't matter. Anyway, after a while I came up with this for my first Tux: I didn't care for the drop shadow so much, so I gave Tux a little drum to stand on.

Nice Work Phactor, but I think you should reduce the opacity of the leg reflections of your tux a bit And welcome to CrystalXP Quote :

Yes, It'll be nice if you reduce some opacity I'm not saying that it's bad But It'll be more beautiful then And also why the wavery redials in your tux's foot?? Is that your idea ?? if it is it's Ok

Did you follow this steps carefully?? Quote :
8. Create a new layer called "Left foot". Set these colors: Foreground: R:224 j'ai:205 B:0 (or #E0CD00) Background: R:223 j'ai:186 B:0 (or #DFBA00) Draw a radial gradient from A to B like on the image : 9. Double-click on the layer's thumbnail to open the layer style windows, then click on the Inner glow label, and doubleclick on the color square. Enter these settings : R:235 j'ai:192 B:0 (or #EBC000). Choose multiply as the blending mode, and put the size to 13 pixels. Repeat steps 8 and 9 to make the right foot.
|
And then Quote :
46. Click on the "Left foot" layer and create a new layer called "Left foot reflect". Then use the elliptical marquee tool to make a selection like on this image : 47. Draw a gradient from the top of the selection to its bottom. Now deselect and duplicate the layer, rename it "Right foot reflect", and place it over the "Right foot" layer. Now move the reflect so that you obtain something like that :

Omie Profil: New Penguin | I threw this together in 5 minutes or so but it kinda takes away from the original tux. Im new to this site and I absolutely LOVE it. I cant believe I didnt find it sooner. I also included my original tux. Constructive critisism is always welcome. Spidey Tux needs a lot of work but im new to this stuff, but I have been using photoshop for about 6 yrs.

Well, I think there are two ways to achieve what you want #1 You can place the Spider picture over the body, & wing layers and give it a same shape as them. Then follow the normal tutorial. In the end you'll obtain something like this
(sorry for the right side end ) #2 Or you can try this Tutorial and apply the spider picture as a T-shirt to the Tux
| |
Omie Profil: New Penguin | That is totally awesome. I was thinking of adding the beak and eyes outside but you dont see spider-mans face and I didnt think it would look so kewl. I guess I should work on it more. Its my 3rd day here I believe so im not really good at it but ive been using photoshop for a while so I know the basics and shorcuts to help me make things faster. I made a buddy from the buddy tutorial and a porthole.

Miso Profil: New Penguin | Thanks much for the tutorial. I'm not too fluent in french thus I'm very grateful for your English version. EDIT: Here's the simple Tux I came up with. I realized it's some work to finish a tux with all those lighting effects.
| |
F34R Profil: New Penguin | Well, here's my first go at it. This was the longest tutorial I've ever done lol. It's awesome. Thanks for such a great piece of work. Now I can start modifying my very own tux ! TY ! Comments on my tux please ? Did I miss anything ? It looks like I messed up on the "drop shaddow" step at the end of the tutorial I tried a different way for the drop shaddow. Is the pic in the tutorial for that step wrong ? Anyways, both are side by side... obviously the second one is better.
