Nice result and welcome to CrystalXP! The shadow looks cut off on all sides, but the Tux looks perfect. Enjoy the community.

Thanks for the comment Gruzz. I think my canvas is too small and is cutting the shadow off, that i reckon my shadow is too big in the first place.

Yes, your shadow is probably a bit over sized.

2. Create a new layer called "White stain" and Ctrl+Click on the model's stain thumbnail.
Put these colors:
Foregroud: R:208 j'ai:208 B:208 (or #D0D0D0)
Background: R:171 j'ai:171 B:171 (or #ABABAB)
Select the "Gradient tool", choose the "Foreground to background" gradient in a linear mode, and draw a gradient from the top of the selection to its bottom.

so i had to find right color manually anyways im gonna make me some eyes now !

Is there anywhere i can download a ready made psd?  just the standard black tux but with shine, shadows etc already done?  I'm quite new and even the basic things i'm having trouble with.  it would help me alot, thanks.
