Asher Genius is not born , it is made.... Profil: Moderator | Welcome to CrXP the kenster The animation you want is possible in ImgeReady if you use it ingeniously but that would be much different from this tutorial since you will have to make different frames for tux with different arrangements of his body parts involved in the activity Have a nice stay
KimberleyJo Profil: Penguin | I can get it to make each frame and I can save it with no problem...with one small problem...it dithers real bad and changes the colors on one of the images, what are the optimal settings to use for making a gif with Image ready?

darklady Just remember, art saves lives. Profil: Big Penguin | Best way to do it is create a color table for it to optimize to. (I normally build one by the image in photoshop and save it. then import it into Imageready) By default it uses the last one that was used.

Nope you haven't missed anything from the Bricopack! The Bricopacks don't have to do anything with these tutorials at all. Most of these tutorials are written for Adobe's Photoshop, you can find a 30 day trail on their website. You can also try to use an open source program, for example The Gimp. Welcome to CrystalXP!

Just a bit confused...can you explain that in a bit more detail, I have no clue how to go about this. The image gif I am trying to create is 38 frames long. I know a bit big, but it's for a web site. I'm CS2 stupid, but trying to learn.

In photoshop, go to Image > Mode > Indexed color. Make sure you have it set to 255 colors and hit ok. This will merge all layers. Dont worry about that. After that Image > Mode > Color Table. There is an option on the right side of the little window to save. Remember where you saved it to. Hit undo (making sure you have your layers again) and import back to Image ready. There you can load your color table. (see image)

Aelitafan13 Profil: Penguin | I hate to sound like a noob, but I can't seem to find the Gradient tool in ImageReady CS2. Any Help?
Gruzz Profil: Moderator | There's no such thing as a Gradient Tool in ImageReady I believe. You'll have to make it in Adobe Photoshop, and then switch to ImageRaedy. In Adobe CS3, ImageReady no longer exists so I'm not 100% sure.
