Your tutorial is slightly wrong, the actual size of a userbar is 350x19 and the Visitor TT1 font must be 10px or if you are using the TT2 its 13 with a 1px black stroke around it.

If done correctly you could have a result like this:

With respect, this tutorial is about making a userbar, I mean the graphical status and ways od doing it but not an article describing an actual size of one

And by the way, I see no good reason for someone to have him self limited just for numbers in designing a usrerbar
So It's no matter what dimention of userbar you do, what important is you use your skills in it.

Anyway, Thankl you for letting us know the true fact about userbars since it'll be useful if you do some international stuff

Nice try sonhaid2, and welcome to Crystal XP! I think you are right and this picture is too large for an user bar. Also, putting a nice 1 px black border around/inside it, looks very nice. Try something else and show us the results.

well, i've re-done it
the white patten's seemed really small in 300*20,
but i want to keep it white, so i tried a larger square pattern at 10*10 pxl
the black border make it a little cooler, too
this tuto about pattern is so good to make a cool bar,or banner

Regarding your signature, it's too large.  It should be 280x70, so you might want to change it.
