Basically you either use the Pen tool to create a custom shape -- or you simply take the Rectangle tool, use the Ellipse tool to make a circle on the corner, inverse the selection, and delete/erase the part you don't want.

Or another thing you could do is use the rounded rectangle tool to make a shape or path and then select the path, inverse, etc like uttaresh said.
You can also change how rounded the corners are in the Radius option box ---------------
