Hi everyone,
in this tutorial I will learn you how te create something like this:
or this:

PART 1
step 1:
create a new document 800x800 with a black background.
step 2:
type your text (T). I used broadway.

step 3:
duplicate both layers.
merge the 2 new layers.

step 4:
go to image > rotate canvas > 90 CW
then go to filter > stylize > wind
tick from the left
then click Ctrl + f 3 or 4 times.
then go to image > rotate canvas > 90CCW

step 5:
go to filter > blur > Gaussian blur

step 6:
go to Hue/saturation (ctrl + U), check colorize!!

duplicate "willem copy" and go to hue/saturation (ctrl + U), do NOT check colorize!!

step 7:
select the top layer ("willem copy 2" ), go to blending options > general blending options > blend mode, change it to color dodge.

step 8:
merge the 2 top layers
step 9:
select the merged layer (the top layer) and go to liquify (Ctrl + shift + X) and model your flames with a brush size of about 20 / 25.

step 10:
get the textlayer to the top.
go blending options > gradient overlay with this settings:

step 11:
merge all layers until now (ctrl+e) (3 in total)
PART 2(only if you want to have "van oort" underneath "willem" )
step 12:
get down the 2 letters ("w and the m" ), by selecting the rectangular marquee tool and select the letter, then press ctrl + T. Press the down and repeat the same for the letter 'm'.
step 13:
now, fill the part that was just made transparent.

step 14:
type "van oort" in between the w and the m.

step 15:
make some blending options you like..... I used:
outer glow;
bevel and emboss;
gradient overlay;
stroke;
satin.

PART 3 (reflection)
step 12:
merge all layers
duplicate the layer ("van oort" or "willem" ).
step 13:
go to edit > transform > flip vertical
You will not be able to see the 1st "willem" any more, so delete that black part

step 14:
go to blending options and set opacity to 10-30
final result:

I hope you understood everything, reactions are always welcome!
