all right all right, listen up!  do you want to turn xp into vista??

well its gonna take more than vista inspirat ok...

here is what you will need:   IMPORTANT set a system restore point before and inbetween installing these programmes i reccomend this for those with abit of spare ram ok.  IMPORTANT
vista inspirat 2
TrueTransparency
vistamizer
VTP 9
bootskin
and for those nvidia users at least Geforce MX420(not that important but is still fun)

ok, first get vista inspirat 2, install it, same goes with vistamizer and VTP 9.
then find and install TrueTransparency, then once it is running right mouse click the tray icon and tick run at startup.
ok, now find a programm call ed bootskin, VTP 9 gives a boot skin but it is sh!t so download and install it, then find its folder in your start menue and then click on download bootskins find a vistaish one. download itthen open the bootskin menu and click on file/import. then find its location and select it then make it your boot skin.

ok now it should look pretty good but there is more!!!

ok VTP 9 make xp look like vista buisness but inspirat 2 looks like vista ultimate but VTP 9 over-runs inspirat 2 so dont worry

go to google and then images then search vista wallpapers, choose one you like then set it as your wallpaper :great:

now you are very close and those without window binds, this is where you get off ok goodbye ...........

pssssssst are they gone??? good
ok find an aero flass theme for windowsbindsdownload it and install it to the application... then guess what you do next...USE IT!!!!!

ok now you should look pretty happy with ur pc :mdr: if you didnt like my tutorial or you think it was incomplete please tell me

your pc should look something like this:  http://www.crystalxp.net/forum/mesimages/302482/untitled.jpg        i dont know if the pic will work

dazza, I don't recommend this so called tutorial of yours because of these  :ohwell:

:ar: First of all We never recommend the installation of a bricopack over any other transformation pack or vise versa since that will permanently replace the XP system files and If a user wanted to reverse back to his previous XP sometimes, He'll never have a chance to revert back  :xeyes:

Of course VTPs have given errors of unable to revert back even installed stand alone so VTP+Vista Inspirat installation may give a Disaster for someone

:ar: Secondly  about your suggestions,

Quote :

vista inspirat 2
TrueTransparency
vistamizer
VTP 9
bootskin
and for those nvidia users at least Geforce MX420(not that important but is still fun)

This will cause your PC to use a large amount of RAM and you'll probably lead in to seizures of the Windows (Unless you're using your PC as a Vista Modeler  :he: )

:ar: Thirdly The Program Windowblinds that you suggest is a shareware of 30 day Trial period and the users may need to spend 19.95$ to get the fully functioning version  :bad: And though they get it, It's also uses lots of PC memory so it + the above programs will make an overload on your PC

What Neil says is very true. The BricoPack won't put any extra ram on your pc, but the rest of the programs will.

But the tutorial is not only for you dazza

:ar: Having 2GB of RAM is not the issue
We don not use our PCs just for customization (or If I say modeling :mdr: ) We do various works with it (maybe regarding to our jobs or educations)
For example, I do 3D animation + 3D/Graphic designing + my educational stuff with my computer and many other PC users will do various things such
For those works and application software, there is essential to be a great virtual memory & RAM for them to function well
Programs like Photoshop 3D Studio max and many others need a considerable amount of RAM to function well
So when we allocate much of the memory in to Computer Interface Decoration, the applications can't work correctly :666:

That's for the RAM thing...

:ar: The other thing is that You've mentioned to install two shell modification packs one over the other which we do not recommend to the members
So let me ask you one question, can you revert everything back to your Original XP version? :eyes:
(Well maybe you don't want to do such but imagine if a member followed your tutorial & sometimes wanted to do it and probably he won't be able to do it other than formatting the PC and re-installing the OS) :beurk:

I think By posting a tutorial or even a reply one is responsible for the methods and information he indicate in that
So if something went wrong for a viewer due to them It's your mistake
Of course members of the CrXP wont take you to Court ;) But it's still your responsibility to give a good instructions

One more thing regarding that two shell installation is that it can seize your machine due to incompatible system file interaction (one from one pack and other from another)

dazza I won't say the viewers not to follow your Tutorial but just saying that there can be issues (may be totally safe if you're lucky enough)
They can experience it at their own risk

Well, I'm sorry If gave you an intention that I tell these things coz I'm Pissed off :666: which I'm totally not

What I told you was from technical knowledge and personal experience from me and some of my friends (including CrXP) members ;)
I'm glad that you were able to revert back

As I mentioned in the previous post, I do not tell the viewers not to follow the tutorial but just saying that there may be issues ;)
