Pen tool is one of the hardest in photoshop, but what a possibility
it gives when you know how to use it. I use it a lot, but still I think I'm only just learning.

I am not so sure about the Bevel and Emboss you used, try using different settings. And I have to agree, pen tool is very hard to learn.

I didn't aim quite the tutorials outcome, it was too flat for me.
I tried several settings and liked this one best.  
Sure there is lots of options to have nice look for the flames and this is one.  
I think its not all bad.

Ok, I cannot get this right, when I use the Convert point tool, it makes all my points round and un-flamelike.
