Ooh, gray fox! That sounds so much cooler than a red one. However red ones are pretty cool.

I am running XP PRO SP3. I killed the old task bar and start menu. Using an applet I whipped up in the lower left of the screen for the Shutdown, Restart, and Log Off. Nice clean start. The icons were modded from the ones Sylvain posted up on the RocketDock site.

- For quick launch and taskbar: RocketLauncher
- Icons are: HydroPro by MediaDesign
- I also use Litestep to get rid of all windows stuff and show just tray
 
With all this stuff my computer uses 165MB memory at startup.
 
And here is a question: is there some low memory consuming program
to show windows tray? Installing Listestep just for tray is... odd.

Edit : Try to use CCLeaner To lower all unnecessary startup programs, iTunes Quick time etc, all have registry entries that will slow stuff down

This is my temporary (although I wish to make it permanent) setup for my PC (the wallpaper blocks are relative to the position of the monitors. DisplayFusion is a great program!):

If I wanted, I could add a fourth monitor. I'm using three because of a project I'm working on for a family thing, after it's over (tomorrow) I'll bring it down to two monitors.
