Also Limewire has stopped numerous songs that have had viruses and other harmful things. If can't spot a infected file whistle looking then you shouldn't use it.

I downloaded Ubuntu and PuppyLinux using torrents, figured it'd be faster than anything else Don't think I have honestly used torrents for anything else All my music through iTunes, especially since the DRM's gone, same with movies. If I want something, that's good quality, it seems morally incorrect not to pay for it. Plus all the hype going down in the UK about cracking down on pirates, it's not worth it.

It's only the pressure from big record labels that's even got this moving. Piracy is perhaps, on a fundamental level, a crime, but there is a lot of opposition and negative feelings towards restrictions against it. Pressure from big companies, pressure from social influence.
