Hi all,

I though we could have a little topic on our desktop's here in the CrystalXP English Forums.  I know there is probably one somewhere else on the site, but I though it would be nice to just have the English section.

If your new to taking screen shots here is a quick tutorial.

Windows - 1.Press the following buttons to take a screenshot: PrtSc (Print Screen)
                2.Open Paint, and then press Ctrl + V (Paste)
                3.Save as .PNG or .JPG

Mac -        1.Press the following buttons to take a screenshot: Apple Key+Shift+3
                2.Image will automatically appear on the desktop.

The poll up there is just to keep a record of who is Windows and who is Mac.

We can speak english too.  

I know quite a few of you can speak English, and that's great .  But there is also a large margin of you that can't (that doesn't mean I don't like you .  By the way, check your PM's.

i also visit the other international "Share your Desktop" thread

i like watching others what they've done to their desktop

lets me know that there are lots of different customization out there i can use especially windowsXP  

and it gives me an idea on what to do with mine

the problem is, i cant understand what they are saying even with a translator.

It is with great sadness that I've to say the "[English & French]" topics are a joke. The only language spoken there is French. I think we should have a french graphic release and an english graphic release section.

Agreed.  I have nothing against French, but they completely over throw any English members that lie on 'that-side' of the forums.  This is another reason I created this topic.

We've to ask for a seperated Graphic Release - Exposition Graphique forum. If the Graphic Release will stay like this, I'm not challenged to get into that forum.

But at the moment, I prefer to let an international section to my mind it's a cool way to have a real community : a place where all members can share things (icons, desktops, etc.. don't have a language, only comments have ) and maybe speak together

The idea is cool, but I have to agree that there are more french people than english and I know this can be boring, posting something and not being able to understand the answers about it.

That's why I always try to translate all the news I write, all the topics I create, it may (I hope so! bring more english people here and restore balance

No, we can not. That's why we have to create an english and a french section.

The best way to run CrystalXP is to give only the french people the opportunity to post Graphic Releases? We all know it's under the section 'International', but it should be under the French section. You'll only have to move it and change the topic title from 'Graphic Release - Exposition Graphique' to 'Exposition Graphique'.

Yes, this is true ... you can`t post everything in both languages ...

But I understand Gruzz & Sparco, it`s hard to follow a topic when
90% written in a language you don´t understand.  

There`s no easy solution I thnik  

You can ask a translation if you don't understand

You see, that's not what were really talking about.  We are saying that the forums e.g. Internationinal aren't exactly that.  Look at the first page of Coconut Island nearly %95 is French.

Now I'm also not saying that the same thing needs to be released twice either.

I like how the forums are now, they are set up reasonably well.  But because this really is more of a French site, I guess we have to live with it.
