That theme is simply amazing Do you have that few apps or do you use categories or something?
 
I've got my iPod 2nd gen on OS 3.0 (3.1 in beta guys!) but I'm still not sure about 'enabling themes and extra apps' if you get my drift. With OS 2.2.1 it started to really slw down my iPod in general, and powering off took longer than Vista! Any suggestions Legace? I like the themes and apps, but it's a time-user, it might slow down my iPod and I lose all my themes and 'special' apps when I update

Nope, just Winterboard I've done a few icons myself to make the theme complete and taken stuff from other themes, though.
 

 
On 3GS it's hard to see the difference with 128MB more RAM and 50% better clock speed (+ better architecture)
 
But yeah, I had my 3G jailbroken when I had 2.x.x and it was pretty sluggish at times.. I had a "clean" installation of 3.0 on my 3G for quite a while, because of that sluggishness..
 
EDIT: How can powering off take that long? Even on my 3G, it probably took less than 4-5 seconds :S

Bought my iPod Touch 2G this week, going to upgrade my software to 3.0 soon, didn't have time to make it custom yet and don't really think I need somekind of special themes but I'm still gonna take a look.
 
P.S. The iPod Touch 2G is actually faster and a little bit more powerful than the iPhone 3G.

 
Yeah, has a 25% better clock speed. I was jealous for my friends with a iPod Touch 2G when I had a iPhone 3G, but now that I have the 3GS

Yeah, they're probably gonna announce it, but it's a waste of cash just like the 3GS.

 
[offtopic]How is it a waste of cash, when you could've got a 3G iPod Tocuh with double the capacity for the same price, if you would've waited a couple of months? :S
 
And about 3GS:
Not really. In a local ebay-like site, we've got 8GB iPhone 2G's for about 200€. If I'd have waited a year and then sold my 3G, I would've probably gained that much. I sold my 3G just before the release of 3GS for 450€. And I could've paid 456€ for the 16GB iPhone 3GS, but I paid a little extra for a 32GB (528€).
 
I'd rather pay 70€ each year, than pay 300€ every other year (or more if the period was longer) [/offtopic]

You've wasted alot of cash on the iPhone, 528€ for a phone and a camera ? When you can basicly have the same without the phone and camera for little over 200€. Also looking that you're not the one paying for the phone you don't really care so..
 
And for the 3G iPod Touch we don't even know if it's actually gonna be released and when. Just rumors.

 
No, I've wasted 528€ on a phone, a camera, a browser, a feed reader, a e-mail client, a gaming device, a mp3 player, a portable dictiona... Too lazy to write more now

Yes, looks really nice. But why do they use the same background color for Phone and Messages? Not sure about that.

Wow, some really nice icons on your current one great dock too Not too sure about the background personally, the Apple logo is a bit too much.

The new one is pretty good, but I think it would be better without the logo. It would make the icons look like they're floating in space or something.

Also, the YouTube icon has something to be desired... unless the white edge is glow.
Plus it doesn't fit with the rest of the icons.

I had that few apps, because I had just set up the phone and was eager to test it that I didn't want to waste time syncing

Yeah, I was thinking about taking the background out and putting a different one in. I'm sure I can find one that's a lot better somewhere around the internet. If not, I'll just do some more graphics work and create one on my own.
 
I like my current one to, I remember 2.2.1 firmware for my older one. 3.0 lacks features.

I bet if you could find a Snow Leopard Server background, it would fit in pretty well.

I say Server because it's blue instead of purple.
