Since I lost all my work forever.... I thought I have a play around.

 
Sort of followed this tutorial, but as I am being a thick git when it comes following tutorials I made few changes but it is close to the original tutorial.

P.S. I know the shadow it a bit off and below the view line, this is just a quick try.

Work out for the Shadow, And give some 3D Effect for the Text

Nice, I've used that tutorial in the past myself.
 
There needs to be a bit more gloss in my opinion, and as Neil said, the shadow is cut off at the bottom.
