The 'ying yang' style circle in the middle seems... squished Stretched more vertically In fact, the entire image does... some aliasing on the corners too...

I dunno, the perspective doesn't look right. Perhaps if you used some sort of model?

Yes the colors are nice, however the perspective and the way it looks stretched seems odd.

fixed the aliasing but can't do much about perspective, I haven't transform the perspective of the shape in any way:

Perhaps it's just the 3D effect that is making it look bulkier vertically, therefore the perspective seems to be squished...? Uttaresh, thoughts? (Since you're the critique )

What I think is that the original logo is meant to look like it was taken from the top. You've made it look three-dimensional by giving it sides, but consider this: if you really look at an object like that, from the top from one side, wouldn't there be a vanishing point? I mean that wouldn't the eye seem wider at the bottom (where you're looking from) and gradually become narrower at the top (as it moves towards the vanishing point).

You got a point there Uttaresh but transforming the perspective of the logo would distort its original shape so I avoided it
