Design a Better Microsoft Store Logo!
 
Microsoft has just released the logo that they will be using for their retail stores.
 

 
Now, I'm sure that we can all say that this looks like it could have been designed by a seven year old.        
 
So what is your mission? Design a new logo for their stores! Now this is all for fun, but who doesn't like to poke fun at Microsoft design
 
I'll set a deadline for this of August 18th (so ghost can do this when he gets back). After the entries are done, we can all vote on our favorites!

And I don't think we should make fun of Microsoft's graphic design - after Vista and its graphics, we should be feeling sorry for them!

Edit: Oh, and just to say I think a 7 year old would be more imaginative than that.

My thoughts exactly. In fact, it could look pretty interesting at a smaller size with a decent background.
 
Now let's make fun of the Apple logo! I mean, an apple!? A three year old could've come up with that!

Yea it's simple, and it works, and it's effective as simle as it is - the actual Windows logo should have been this perhaps... but even so, I want to design something more flashy

The fact that it could've been made in Paint does not take away the fact that this is a pretty good logo when you think about it. People will associate it with Microsoft/Windows and it'll be very recognizable.

Wow, that is an amazing video. Of course, everyone uses a very similar method in Photoshop for digital paintings, but there's still something striking about it.

Now to the people who make fun of the Apple, in front of our local Apple Store they have giant lights in the shape of the logo. They just look amazing. You can't do that with this logo, and if you did... meh.
