A 3D Tie Interceptor made by following a tutorial. I used Maya to create this one (and a Photoshop gradient background).

That is NOT a TIE Fighter. It's a TIE Interceptor. I was once the biggest Star Wars fan ever! I still love it, but I stay away from it as the addiction leaves no time for my actual life.
 
It looks awesome, though you should apply a texture to the wings to make them look like solar (or stellar) panels.

hmm... some textures, lighting would look fantastic.

Good but can be made with more solid colors...
