Well ive been working on a logo for a company to print to a USB Flash Drive And I came up with this i can't decide which one is the best.    so i thought i'd ask you and see what all you P.S /Gimp etc geniuses think?    and if they are not so good i won't feel ofended    also id ike to see if any of you had any verations?

I think the bottom one is better than the upper one because the gradient focuses on the text but in both pictures the reflection on the ground isnt good becaus it isnt streched so it doesnt have a feeling of depth.

The gradient does improve the second one, but if you want to use a reflection, try to make is so they aren't floating. Also, there is quite a bit of aliasing due to the angle of the letters
