Hi all,

I was so excited by ASHAR's come back that I started to study a photoshop book.

Forgot to put my glasses and suddenly I came up with the (idea)  to put bead glasses on my TUX.

So here I am ....with this studious TUX.  Please give me comments to improve on it.

I hope you've submitted it with a transparent background. Nice result though!

Isn't the nose supposed to be crystallized?

It has a crystal effect on it in the orignal version, but it's up to the artist to decide if he/she wants to use it.

Oh. Well, other than that, I think its pretty good!

Speaking of Internet Explorer 6 or older - it has problem with transparency, but it could be solved with a small script putting on a webpage. I could provide you with it ^^

Very good tux Nagaya , I think some parts of the tux need to be crystallized.Also make a boundary of the shirt.

Ok guys...With lots of corrections I came up with this new TUX.  

the idea of STUDIOUS remains the same though!!

Any comments to improve this before I submit this in the factory. I dont want more refusals...!

Some things you might want to improve:
His left hand looks a lot smaller then his right hand, a bit strange?
The Shadow under the feet somehow looks weird. Maybe there's something you can do about it?

Yes, it's much better! Suggestion for shadow: make it be completely black and then use 15px Gaussian Blur

By the way, one suggestion I would like to make, I just deleted the tux I submitted in TUX factory. It was refused.

It will be so much good, if we can know our mistakes have some comments on why the TUX was refused or any suggestions to make it better. (There is an option there that gives room for comments by the mods).

One note: they're not validated by the Moderators. This is the job of the Validators.

Maybe you could upload the .psd so we're all able to help you?

great job nagaya. one thing, aren't lenses supposed to make things appear larger? the eyes remain the same size. you may also try to add a crystal effect on the glass itself as if light hit it from upper right or whatever you think is necessary. but still, nice one...

Hi TIM,

I modified according to your suggestions. The gloss on the spectacles and the eye inside is a bit bigger.

Also added spot light to it.

It's much better than the previous one , you have improved it a lot.
Some things still need to be improved   .

1. Do not make the whole of the left eye of the tux larger , only apply the Spherize effect on that part which lies beneath the lens.

2. Also make a circular gloss on the lens with the miximum possible opacity as the eye is almost white.

For point 1: The effect is exactly the same as you said. I made made the part of the eye inside the lens a bit bigger and not the whole eye. (the left eye is a bit bigger than the right eye. but that is a part of the basic design)
