This is my first topic thread here, please bare with me *cough*noob*cough*

I was wondering if somebody can help me. I would like to know if it's possible to edit
downloaded skins from the internet without any editing programs. example: opening
the images and changing the colors/design without downloading something like window
blinds or something. Everytime I try to use an external program it screws up my PC.
This will help me out a lot.

This is possible with resource hacker or resource tuner. I personally prefer resource tuner as you can see and edit .pngs unlike resource hacker. What are you trying to edit because I use this to edit msn skins.

It is not possible to edit system resources without external programs..

Just for curiosity, why does your pc crash when you use external programs?
