How do you make your own themes for vista and by the way i never made themes!
And that theme is great best i have ever seen!

Thanks. I use Adobe Photoshop and Resource Tuner to create most of my themes.

I only have Paint.NET will this software help me to make themes?
I am good in using this software though!

Adobe Photoshop is used to create your own resources like startbutton image, titlebar image, buttons, etc. So you can use any other image editing software like Paint.NET for it.

But only creating images is not sufficient for creating a theme. You'll have to use a resource editing software like Resource Hacker, Resource Tuner, Restorator, etc to replace resources in default Windows msstyles file with your own created resources. Thats how a theme is created.

I never knew theme making was so complicated  but i like it  how long will it take for me to make a theme?

You can start from today and who knows you'll also come with a new theme of yours very soon?

I just realized that you have to buy this software ,do you know any software that is for free?

I forgot to add to this to my previous message what exactly does Resource Hacker, Resource Tuner, Restorator actualy does to your computer?

If you forget to add something, there is the Edit option just below the message.

ResHack, ResTuner, etc. can be used to modify system files..
