I am so frustrated with this program!!!
Below is the instructions from the read me file.  I opened the installme.bat file a black command window appeared and i clicked yes or whatever on the dialogue box.  now what the hell is the ViStart executable?  there are a couple of icons with gears of some kind on their pictures, there is also a resource folder, this is what I mean when people are vague and it drive me insane!!  If I saw a file that had the file extension exe. on it I would have opened that.  Now it appeared when I clicked the start but there was no icon in the tray and it just vanished when I booted up this morning.  I don't even see it on my list of programs!!  I'm at the point of screaming!!!!  Why do sooooo many program writers assume that everyone is totally experienced.  The website is absolutely useless for help!

Extract the contents of the downloaded achieve to a directory, such as C:\ViStart then open "installme.bat", and then the ViStart executable.

I went to another forum and one of the guys there told me specifically what the Vistart executable file looked  like and I now have it working.  I want to try different skins to go with my many visual styles, after downloading the skins where should I copy them to?  Should it be the Resource folder or the Vistart executable?

I copied the skin to the Resource folder, then went to the tray icon to look for it, but nothing happened!  I thought that it would work in the same manner as True Transparency, where you would see the skin among the others on the menu when you open it.  What do you do to activate the skin, is it accessible to be clicked on?.  If you would please give me more details I really would be grateful!

You want to keeping changing skins like in TrueTransparency.. That's not possible with ViStart.
The files in the resource folder [for example /ViStart/resources/userframe.png], must be replaced.

So you must copy the files from the skin [for example userframe.png], replace the files in the /resources folder and then restart ViStart.
