For quite a while, I have been amazed by the beauty of the icons and artwork of the Oxygen Project, the new icon set for the upcoming Version 4 of the KDE Desktop Manager. Although I know that it is not complete, I am quite dismayed that there is not yet an effort to port Oxygen to Windows. Thus I have begun to take initiative and begin to port Oxygen to Windows.

My first step was to begin with the simplest. Last week I announced that I have been working on a Oxygen theme for WinRAR. This theme is now complete. It is a 48x48 px WinRAR theme. Again, the icons are by KDE and the theme is simply a compilation of the icons into a WinRAR theme.

I do also like these icons (some of them are drawn by Everaldo, I guess)
Shall we have a preview of this skin?

I am very anticipated about the skin the icons are indeed very beautiful but as Didas said , a preview should be provided

It's OK, but why they insist in make MIME icons look weird like this:

It's agains XP, VISTA and MAC OS natural Style. And what about an relative unknown file type like:

Colin McRae Rally Data Files (*.bfl)

How will they look?

Well..yea those dont look that nice, however those are old icons and the new ones look a lot better now. They haven't updated the Oxygen website for a LONG time. The developer blogs show a clearer picture of where Oxygen is now.

By the way, I hear that the link is not working for the Oxygen icons for WinRAR. I shall repost the link again:

Thanks, I unzipped the pack and it has a very similar (but not the same) Crystal Clear style.
