Hello all,

I currently finishing custom shellstyle for WinXP but i can not figure how to modify overall thickness of it.Can somebody help me? I dont know witch parameter influences thickness of top horizontal shellstyle.Current thickness is 34 pixels, but i want 30...but cannot find what to modify to get some results...

Is the thickness not the same as the pixels of the BMP you use ?

Simply try to resize your Background-BMP from 34 to 30 pixel ?

Unfortunatelly no, my bitmap is 23x293 pixels...I had analyzed my shellstyle.dll in ResHacker, but can not find nothing what could affect size of that bar...

Please request at Neowin-Forums, they got lots of know-how in stylebuilding ...

Uhm...it was pain in the ass and i almost gave up, but there is one of a hell guide for creating shellstyles

In first place you must chose desired size - i set height of top bar to 31 pix (pic1) - it is at the end of the UIFILE 1

Then you must edit aditional options where "120" means bitmap 120 (what is in my case bitmap of the shell
background) and borderthickness and padding parameters influences correct appearance of the top bar after
i set its thickness to 31pix...
