I have a weird problem. I'm useing Windows Vista and when I install the program it's not runing. On end of installation process it asks me 'run program' I click Yes but nothing happens. Also in CProgramFiles/Vista Rainbar - there is no .exe file. There is only uninstall.exe and few .ini files. Anyone got a solution of this problem?

For all those who have trouble with the weather forecast. After searching google high and low i've found the solution (for the english version of rainbar v4.3).
You need to edit the ini files for weather forecasts (you can find them in your instalation dir (mine are:  
C:\Program Files\Vista Rainbar\Skins\Gadgets\Meteo
C:\Program Files\Vista Rainbar\Skins\Gadgets\Meteo2
C:\Program Files\Vista Rainbar\Skins\Gadgets\Meteo3
C:\Program Files\Vista Rainbar\Skins\Gadgets\Meteo+).
Open every ini you find in those folders (Meteo.ini, Meteo2.ini, Meteo2-1.ini, Meteo2-2.ini, etc.) and edit the line with the url (Url=http://xoap.weather.com/weather/local/#Zip#?cc=*&unit=#Unit#) by changing xoap with xml and finally getting Url=http://xml.weather.com/weather/local/#Zip#?cc=*&unit=#Unit#
 
This solved my problem with the forecasts, hope it helps you.
Btw, i really like this software and hope to see some new gadgets along the time.

PS. The Power gadget PowerGlass.ini (English version) has a bug. The ButtonCommand=!RainmeterActivateConfig "Gadgets\Power\Fenetre" "Fenetre.ini" refers to an unknown ini. Instead i used the provided option.ini by changing ButtonCommand=!RainmeterActivateConfig "Gadgets\Power\options" "options.ini" and now it works, it shows the Power Off dialog box to shutdown or whatever your computer. These are some bugs i discovered, and in the next version of Rainbar i hove they will be solved.
 
PPS. If i modify the settings for mail check in mail2.ini when i try to activate the gadget rainmeter stops working. Could someone please tell me how to make it work?

Yes, do not worry.

As long as you download it from the right place (Legace's DeviantArt account is a good place to check), you should be safe.

If you download something like, say Vista Rainbar 2009, then it would probably not be safe. Also, it's a free tool!

The vista sidebar does not permit other windows to go under it, i think i prefer that, pls is it possible to configure rain bar like that

 
 
Hi, I have been using Vista Rainbar 4.5 0.7 on my Windows XP systems since it 1st released and love it. I have even downloaded the 4.6 for my Windows Vista systems. Despite the weather not showing anymore, I still do not wish to change the 4.5 version on my XP systems as the "Enigma World" clocks interfaces under Sidebar are nicer than 4.6. Don't understand why you changed the World Clocks' look to a flat tone in the 4.6 instead of maintaining the slight 3D look.
 
Rrecently, I encountered a problem on 1 of my systems loaded with the Vista Rainbar 4.5 0.7. So I uninstalled and reinstalled. But to my dismay, the enigma skin could not be downloaded anymore. How do I get the enigma skin back again? I understand the probable thing to do now is to install the 4.6 version which is still fully working with especially the weather gadgets. But I sincerely would like to maintain the 4.5.
