Using ABP for ages

Not wanting to go off-topic too much, but I really think this plugin is not a very nice one. People place the advertisements to get a small revenue. In return, you're able to watch all the content on the website for free. Hosting a website costs money, why would you not grant the web master this small revenue which covers at least a small bit of the hosting costs.

AdBlock Plus does have a whitelisting feature. I enable ads on all small sites (blogs, for example) that I like and use and that I know are hosted by ad revenue

Same here. It is nice on places like weather.com where when you try to look at radar, there are a bunch of dancing freaks on the side of your page. But when I'm on places like proboards websites, I will disable it since it is all free.
