What do You think about my new avatar? I don't have enough time so I made it quick, but I think it's not bad, huh?

Hum, the text can't be read, otherwise the tux doesn't look bad.

Anyways, add some shading to the text. It's weird having a nice image, but the text being solid colors

And about the text - it isn't wrote in different language only font is weird (this font is angerthas - dwarf runes from 'The Lord of the Rings' ). Oh and there is wrote my nickname - Earnur (also from J.R.R.Tolkien books - I like fantasy a lot )

If it is runes, you should make them look as though they are either sinking into the avatar or coming out of it, kind of like when the runes are embedded in stone or parchment

Well, lots of possibilities are here of course. I think the easiest way will be through the Layer Styles option. Go to 'Bevel and Emboss' and there you are. Change a few settings here and I think you'll have some nice embedded runes.
