Ok I made a signature with a few differences.

The signatures or mainly about the evolution of graphics from dark and/or monochrome (depending on which one your talking about) and 2-D pictures to bright colorfull 3-D pictures.

(I pretty sure monochrome and Grayscale are the same

ok the selection

1:
It has no monchrome color transition but everything else

2:
Grayscale version (only goes part way to full Grayscale[monochrome])

3:
Full grayscale but the color part is duller

and 4:
full color and full Grayscale (The Original Idea)

also can you rate the one you say is the better of them all?

i like  version 4.

but then it has some aliasing in the inner box.  

edit: some aliasing on the outer box as well.

RE-EDIT: NVM I use many layers as much as possible so I can edit things independently and I stay organized and I forgot to switch the the right layer

i like the first one just remove the non-crystallized tux from the right side.

Use 'Shape Tool' to create a round rectangle of suitable radius and you will not encounter any aliasing.

I like the 4th one, it's more clear what your trying to say  

(and I'm sorry I can't  add anything to the "aliasing' subject, I don't even know what that means I'm an absolute beginner   )
