Ok, new topic sounds good, let's organise this :oui: Have a specific topic for planning the game out, as opposed to this one which was originally just to show an idea

I think no animations is good, we should focus on keeping it nice, simple, and not fancying it up too much, that's what leads to never ending deadlines.

I think we should have rules on the cards, like on the attack/defense values (Or whatever we chose to use for the game), and also no tuxe cards should be accepted for the game until they have been "validated", so everyone agress that they are fair, and not made like 99999/99999 :oui:

And people who can program... well, I can program a bit  Depends how we want the game to be made will change how we make it, and also what language we use. If we make it in flash then we are looking at AS2 or 3, and I can help there  I have Flash CS3 and I do know some AS. If we were to make it another way, like a windows or web app we would be looking at things like VB and C++, which I'm less knowledgable of, though there are people on the forum who know these :oui: and php and java there should be some people who know them (I am learning myself)

Can't wait to see more ideas from you headbuster  Tux FTW!!! :penguin:

I totally agree with you! :oui:
We should also make the back of the card and maybe put some basic rules there
(A 3d version will be also good[maybe I can make one ])

I suppose I could do the programming part. I know C++, C#, Visual C++, Visual C#, HTML, Flash (with a little AS), PHP... and maybe some more languages -- can't remember.

Just make sure you first get permission to actually submit it on this site. It'd be a futile attempt if we couldn't get at least ten thousand people to download it.

I'm sure as long as we use tuxes, dont break any copyright, and keep it clean it'll be allowed on the site, as "official" as it were.

And wow, I didn't realise how many languages you knew! I see you're a fairly big "C" guy

Not sure why we would need the back of a card at the moment. But... I'll bring out the .psd file as soon as my own internet is fixed again. That might still take a few more days though.

@Headbuster It might be hard to decide what the back of the crad will be like, if we are making it like crystal xp... I think if you press "Alt+F4" the CrystalXP website will flip round so you can see the back

My replacement router just came in, so I can use internet again. :oui: I'll have a look at this tomorrow during the day, make a standard .psd file and then you're all able to do with it what you want.

A day later then promised, but here it is. I locked the layers which shouldn't be editable and gave them a blue color. The layers that should be edited have an orange color. The hardest thing to decide on was the fonts which where used. I gave all of the layers a name, which includes the font name. So if you haven't got the font specified, you can do a search for it. I hope this .psd file will help you and is clear enough.

I'm using Photoshop CS3. Do you mean the description text as in the image you see, or in the layers palette?

I meant the actual description in the image, not the layer palette. I guess it's because I have CS2...
