*More icons now available in following posts*

Well, this is an icon pack that I'm making. It'll include icons that look like the iPhone's. Currently, I've created the ones for Adobe CS3:

I know they're enormous, but I think it's better making bigger graphics because... er, well, uhhhh... they're so big and shiny!!

Anyway, you can still use them in Rocketdock at the normal size.

By the way, in the Lr icon, shouldn't the text be the highest layer (like in all other icons) or is this intentional?

It's intentional, in the iPhone app icons the gloss is always on top of all others.

The reason it looks different, is that the other icons text is white, so you can't see the gloss on top of them (White can't get any whiter ), but the LR is grey, so the gloss makes it lighter.

Too simples icons

Well, it's supposed to be JUST like the iPhone's icons - and, yes, they ARE simple.

But it's not like I'm making it in MS Paint. The Settings icon took me quite some time to create...  

Simple's good, 'specially when you're imitating simple icons...

They won't look so simple when they're smaller, since the above ones are all 512 which is huge. (By my standards )

Heck on my dock they look good being simpler

We have the Safari icon:

I can't see a safari icon...

I hate being negative but sorry, i have to in this case, man.

Here are all the points you must correct :

*  The icons are two rounded. The original iPhone one are less rounded than that.
*  The icons are too simple and if ever you decide to release it, a very few people will download and appreciate it.
*  All these icons are too similar to the originals. People who make iPhone style icons add their own style to it.

I know i may be rude to you but it's like that i progressed and believe me, it works.

Just a little, though. It's not THAT much rounder, and correcting it at this stage would take a long time.

As I said in the other post, they're similar deliberately. I want them to be like the originals. But these were just the standard icons. But you're right. As I make more for other applications, I should get more creative...

Comparing them to a screenshot of the apple app store the difference is barely noticeable
