Dunno about the gloss though...

I would suggest you to remove 'Bevel & Emboss'  from the windows logo and just apply outer glow of small radius , also try giving shadow to the mail-lid (dunno what is it called )

Hi friends, it's a long time since my last post, i was busy in projects and due to unavailability of net i can't post or create/upload some more icons, i am going to upload all icons in png and ico format to end this thread, thanks to all of you for your suggestions and support.....  

I like what i am seeing... Very much but by the sounds of it i cant see all of them ~~oh dear~~
