Whereabouts is the light on the box coming from Asher? Looks to me to be directly above, in which case the shadow seems fine...

No, it's my eyes, it looks fine

Yes , the light is coming from upward so shadow will appear beneath the crate and some part around it

I like how you've got the bolt in front of the white diamond background... thingy

What's that icon for? I suspect it'll be fairly obvious

Pretty different icon for WinAmp for sure. It looks pretty nice, but the white is really bright.

Ah, that's a very nice webcam! The shadow and color work is very good. How about giving the inner circle a radial gradient instead of the linear gradient you've got at the moment?

For winamp's icon it's looking well ....but...
1. the icon(not the background ) is asymmetrical...
2. very thin.....

however it's me only....... but i felt that...

rahul123 It doesn't seem asymmetrical to me and about the thickness , I've made all icons 6px thick so I can't make this one thicker than others

Arrow on the box is aliased .... but it's nice

Nice Box Asher , and i don't get a feel of aliasing there.

For winamp, i don't mean the thickness at Z axis, i mean the width with respect to height, i again say... it's may be me only.........Anyways the icon is great all the way, don't take any pain due to my words  

Very nice box, but I agree with the others on the arrow. Also the top lines of it don't seem to be parrallel with the lines of the box, they seem to slant slightly... might just be me

PS: The way you have the arrow "indented" into the box. Did you do that by hand (You know, pen tool, line tool kinda thing) or is there some magical photoshop power that I haven't found yet? Help on how to do this would be greatly appreciated

Regarding your question , I filled the arrow with black on a new layer and moved the selection 3 pixels on right and deleted that part of the arrow

And that icon is pwetty... really nice shadow and reflection But the glossy-bit seems slightly off to me... on the green and yellow the glossy-bit (crystallisation? I get confused) seem to be fairly parrallel to each other, whereas the red glossy-bit (:tongue seems to be at less of an angle... just looks awkward to me

That empty box can be an icon for "Icon Packager"(really loved that box)

@ghost, lightning has nothing to do with that icon, it's for Winamp, a media player, and generally it's pretty broad   (not thin ) that's why i put that point,however asher has his own ideas and icon is still pretty good

Hmm.. well it looks like a lightning bolt and lightning is thin Plus if he made his icons really similar it wouldn't be avery good icon pack
