Instead of having a million threads about wallpapers and how to improve them, why not have them all in the one place?  I introduce to you the Wallpaper Box!  Same rules as the Icon Box, so have fun.

Idea: Full icon / wallpaper sets can post in a new topic, but singular wallpapers / icons (or ones who still need some work) can be posted in the boxes. Give your opinions (and freshly made wallpapers! in this topic.

i agree, GRUZZ. Sets can be posted separately and single pieces can be posted in the BOXes!

What about posting several threads like it on differents subjects (draws, 3d...) like the French section?

I think the sections we currently have are sufficient. You can't compare the French with the English section. There are much more contributers at the French section, so they need more sections. Having lots of empty / almost never used sections seems a bit strange to me.

But what is point of this board when we have to post everything in this thread? Makes no sense for me

We have improved the amount of sections in the English section greatly and there is no need for more.  If we have a 3D section for example, I don't think it would be very active because not many people here are keen on it.

A large portion of the forum is French and that's why they have more detailed options such as Mayer and Blender Tutorials.

i agree with sosose222 on this point. it will be good if we can have some more categories. i also agree that we cant have so many categories as compared to the French section but at least we can increase some categories in the English section to have proper titles to thread.

for example i was seeing this thread in the french section. we dont have something like any many others in the Engslish section.

The topic you pointed out is simply put in the French Graphic Release under Other.  I'm certain you can already do this now

Disko, you still didn't explain me what is the point of this sub-board? We have everything in 2 topics! In my opinion, that's a bit stupid, don't get me wrong. Yeah, we are a big forum, and we have a lot of inspired artists, and yes, million threads. But all the big forums have big boards....

Well sosoe, in the olden days back at the start of 2006, we had four forums in which we could post in.  Now we have expanded the forums to bigger and better things that came with Version 4.  The current English Mod's were working hard a long time before V4 was released, working on these forums.

So if we could suffice on 06, I think we can be fine for now.  And, we are not limited to two topics at all.  There are around 20 forums that you can post in the English Section.

If it becomes really necessary we can easily add more.  I'll keep you up to date on everything happening right now behind the scenes and I might put up a poll in the next few hours about this topic.

But for now, keep posting your wallpapers!

Yes, but people mostly post in this board! Still, I think this is a bad idea, but it's your choice
