vaksa Profil: Top Penguin | Hi Twisted Caution, welcome on CrystalXp  Answer depends on that how you want use them. If you want use .ico image you should: put icon to any folder, right click on desktop shortcut > properties > change icon > browse... For .png use Objectdock:
In C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock create any folder, put icons to this folder, put your desktop shortcut to objectdock, rightclick on this shortcut: "Dock Entry Properties..." -> "change image", find your icon. Exists some other solutions, but i'm not sure about them.

Bluebird Profil: New Penguin | Cheers Pal !! u seem to have taken enough pains to get the .ico & .png extension into ur system. Here i am still struggling to get them I tried varied ways to succeed in it. Even after reading ur tut i am still confused. I got ur 1st part right but the 2nd part where u mention "put your desktop shortcut to objectdock, rightclick on this shortcut: "Dock Entry Properties..." -> "change image", find your icon" is which i still didnt figure out. Can u be more clear as to how this has to be carried out. I have installed Icon Packagerv3 to get these icons put but that too is giving me probs as its not accepting the .co & .png extensions. I would like to get my queries answed by u VAKSA. Kindly Help me pal so i can decorate my desktop like the screen shots put by Crystal XP. Thanx. I am waiting for ur response. | |

After this, rightclick on on this dragged shortcut at Objectdock -> "Dock Entry Properties..." -> "change image", find your icon...
