this is my first wallpaper done in photoshop... i don`t remember how i`ve done it... but i still have the psd...

so what do you think?

I have to say, I like that style, but the border is kind of so-so.

any suggestions for that layer?... it`s the bottom layer... i added a bevel and a inner glow...

I think the effects are file, but I don't like the fact that they overlap each other (the one on top has a lower-than-100% opacity)

are you talking about the white border... the one round the green fill in the middle?

`cause i`m talking about the green border of the entire wallpaper...

Yes, the white border.

It's cool, but could use some work.  Maybe make the text stand out from it's background a little bit more.

i have two suggestions

1. the inner green glow inside the inner box is kind of filling the whole box with it..may be you can reduce it a bit

2. the text inside "xblade" needs to stand out. you can use a darker color for it, or a gradient, or add some drop shadow to it.

i will upload the psd file... so you can download it... make some modifications... and post your results...

Saying things like this don't make much sense.  If you think it needs improving, you need to tell him what aspects of it need to be improved.
