Why not? It's a visual representation of what the folder is, have seen tons of icons that look this similar, maybe you need to explore more before passing your judgement.

OK, I'll give you a reason then. Icons are used by most people at a very small size. While simple shapes and colours retain their quality when shrunk, photographs do not. They end up looking weird with too much detail. I don't know where you have, but I've never seen a popular icon pack with real pictures for icons.

As far as "visual representation" goes, it looks like a folder for your digital stamp collection.

And your signature is too big, as everyone has pointed out. Maybe you should try out our glomp sig?

Finally, I will not "explore more" before passing judgement. How else am I supposed to piss random guys on the internet off?

Similar, but I doubt these 'similar' icons all have actual pictures - it doesn't look good when resized

Uttaresh I agree there isn't a complete different folder design but there's some considerable difference:

Just to inform you, the various folders (music, web..etc) will be made just using two colors ,that is, black and white.I'll also include black version so do you still think I shouldn't continue with the pack?

The black may be interesting, as there are very few good black icon sets ... it would be pretty welcome; but I don't know about this colour.

thetmyster The picture that I've of this camera doesn't have any silver plate as seen from front , may be they have put it somewhere else.
