I'm afraid I do not understand. Growing up on which side? There is already some moss around the edges and to the top and right of the lower speaker.

I have another idea for the speaker. Hopefully, you'll like it.

I suppose moss wasn't the right choice, more like ivy - you know how ivy grows up the sides of buildings?
 

Perhaps some growing up the speaker might make it look less sparse.
 
And I prefer the original to the edited version, the green glossy metal bits don't look right

Which is why I didn't use it to replace the first one. It's a matter of preference, and some may want more green in the icon. So I put it in as an alternative version. They'll both be in.
 
I don't want to introduce ivies now ... I've already done half the pack, minus touch-ups and minor improvements. I will, however, try to use the moss more efficiently.

Indeed, basically put a black background on an image  (320x480 pixels) and then do an Apple logo in the centre, with this very cool style.
 
And could I possibly have a few PSDs? So I can see how you've done the stone and moss - I'm interested in making an iPhone theme based on this...

The PSD won't tell you much. I made three stone textures in a different file, saved them as three different JPEGs.
 
The basic idea is that you first take a grey background, and add some monochromatic noise. Then, apply the filter Render>>Lighting. Keep all settings at default, except choose only ONE colour channel. Blue, Green, OR Red. After that, it's pretty basic: Clouds and Layer Effects to give it a unique light/dark pattern, and Hue/Saturation with Colorize enabled for a very light colour tone. Add Bevel and Emboss if you like.
 
Moss is too easy. First choose the Splatter brush in Photoshop set at high opacity (80-95%). Select a dark shade of green, and just click once wherever you want to add moss. After you're done, choose a lighter shade of green (like lime green), set the opacity at around 25-35%, and use it ever so lightly where light is falling, or where you want it to be lighter.

The lines aren't lined up. And unless teh calender pages are stupidly thick, they should be.
 
And from a practical sense, that calender wouldn't work for turning the pages - the stone is in the way.

What lines are you talking about? Do you mean the light green border line surrounding the dates? I know they should be aligned, but it didn't look natural; it looked as if it was the same page with a flap on it instead of the curl. So I shifted it a bit. Think of it as a misalignment in the cheap quality of paper and printers those environmentalist freaks use.
