Somehow, I got yafaray working with blender.  
 
some test results:
 

 
1. Photon mapping-final gather + caustics.
2. HDRI lighting and reflections.
3. Volume light.

I love the lighting on the second one ,dunno much about the 3d stuff though

good, i try to use it once but the result was bad because my pc is a shit

Me too. Makes it look pretty 'real' instead of just a few grey boxes.

yafray handles large meshes with ease and speed.
