...and to add some noise on the surface, a better shader with the correct spec, a less and smoother reflectivity on the floor.
Your lighting is too flat, you can test the 3-point method (french example here : http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/ [...] oint_Light
) with soft shadow. It's a good beginning !
