I've been teaching myself Lightwave (Modeller and Layout) for the past few weeks. And this is probably the best result so far. :) For those with smaller resolutions, you can even use it as your background image!  :cool: Let me know what you think!  :smile:

It's pretty cute!
 
Now you just have to get the logo on the bumps (embossed). And maybe make it shinier.
 
But you definitely got the shape and stuff right! Keep going.

Thank you truth. I will see if I can try that. :) In the next version I might also try to put the lego logo on top of the 'rounds'.

yes, with a little map with bump !
...and to add some noise on the surface, a better shader with the correct spec, a less and smoother reflectivity on the floor.
Your lighting is too flat, you can test the 3-point method (french example here : http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/ [...] oint_Light  :confused: ) with soft shadow. It's a good beginning !
