Would love to have a Tux G2 done to look like Deadpool in his Weapon-X (Dark Red on Black) color scheme.

Searches for Deadpool wil lturn up alot of good images, but the Weapon-X suit is black, with red trim (reverse of most of what you will see)

Well, This is what I came up with, but I'm still fiddling

Nice, but you could do better.

Here are a few tips:

1. The white eyes... Give them a red inner glow to make them look fiercer.

2. The shadow. It's too opaque. Use a solid-to-transparent gradient to get it right.

3. Save it as PNG, and not JPG to get a transparent background.

4. Aliasing. There are too many jagged edges. Make sure you have aliasing turned on for every tool you use.

5. Detail. From the picture above, it looks like you've not coloured his outfit right. Also, you haven't got the scabbard of his sword right.
