I once upon a time did have an account here seems i had it with an old e-mail address so the account is unavailable to me now (dammit!) Anyway that aside I'm looking for some help - I would say i am graphically challenged to say the least and yes! i have tried for endless hours to create my own little mascot but with little luck. A lot of tutorials out and about for GIMP are great and easy to follow with some great output however going and doing something outside of the tutorials seems to complicated for my poor little brain.
I run an IRC based website ( http://ircreport.com ) and my users are wanting to provide linkbacks and well we do not really have a logo of any form so i am looking for some kind hearted soul who can do this graphic wizardry stuff i just cannot grasp! and possible produce a logo. Sadly the best thing i can offer is my most humble gratitude and a link back in the footer of my site l(ogo by <blah> yoursite.com)
Preferably i would be looking for something along the lines of a dog or puppy as it would somewhat fit nicely! However if that is asking too much a tux with IRCReport somewhere on his attire would be awesome. For the curious IRC is Internet Relay Chat one of the largest (and oldest) methods of communication in the world (imagine twitter, live, with no char limit and lots of people involved in it!) or as gamers like to describe it - multiplayer notepad | |

Thanks for the response and wakey wakey  - well I currently have a default type item in place which outputs at 150px × 59px (the little house looking thing in the top right if you looked at the site) anything within this sort of range would be great but anything thats in a format that will resize without too much pixelation (is that a word ?) would be fine also! | |

That is totally awesome! the only change i would probably make is IRC being an acronym would normally be in uppercase (i know fussy) Really love that design however

One of the other admins has also insisted i ask if you would have a .svg for the logo ? apparently it helps with resizing (once again beyond me .png seems to work ok!) | |
Gruzz Profil: Moderator | .svg means it would be a vector style logo.  Then you can resize it to whatever size you want without worrying about the pixellation. However, I did not make the logo in vector format.
