Have any of you guys used Inkscape? I'm having issues with black boxes where fonts should be when I save an SVG and try to view it anywhere else (like Firefox). I read that there's some outdated tags (flowRoot, flow...?) in the XML but I can't seem to take them out without screwing something up.

I've no experience with Inkscape, perhaps truth knows what's wrong. The image I made is just a bitmap image, it's not vector (.svg).

Cool work gruzz. . Yeah, root flow tags are strange, I usually use a simple text tag, with x,y width, height,font attributes.Also you can check out Xaralx , another awesome linux graphics application.
