Ok, back to topic, I have a website: www.techfreakiez.com

I'l be using a template named Modish, demo here: http://demo.gavickpro.serwery.pl/joomla15/apr2008/

Now the problem is that i want the banner to appear here, the area inside the red markings:

now, i do not know what is the required size.

Can anyone of u make a banner for my website?  please

Its a website related to technology and entertainment.

I want the text "TechFreakiez" to be written on the banner...

i can show u a type of banner which i found on Deviantart.com which i like very much, my banner could be similar to this one if possible.
 

although this is a more like a skyscraper banner and too techy and less on entertainment...i want Tech and entertainment

Am kinda n00b in designing so please help me guys.
You can please use any kind of color, font etc.  
I would be looking forward to it...

UPDATE: guys...i found this image...can anyone make a similar banner of size: 590x60 for my website
the text to replace "techsupport"  would be "TechFreakiez"...
if possible replace few blocks with some gadgets like mp4 players, iphone and all that...plz help

Okay, first off, get GIMP, it's free.
Then right click>Copy image>Ctrl+Shift+V in GIMP, replace the whole image with a strong, dark-ish blue.
Add a transparent-black gradient over it, then find a font you like and write your site's name on it in the center.
PM the image to me, and i'll add a few images to make it look even better, and give it back to you.

If you need any help, PM me, I'll teach you how to make images so that you can help others too.

Now regarding the banner, I have a few questions.

Do you have any specific font in mind? Would you like some text beside "Tech Freakiez" written on it?

What about the colors? The same colors as that banner? You do realise, of course, that I cannot reproduce or copy that banner legally without the author's permission. So it shall have to be a little different.

Another thing. I know this is none of my business, but your website looks more like a news website to me than a techie one.

Actually, design maker is much better than me. So I don't think there's any point in me making one as well now.
